It’s hard to go to the gym. I understand. You have classes, you have homework, and you have friends. You have a myriad of things keeping you busy, and the gym just isn’t a priority for you. Maybe you’ve even made it to the gym once or twice, but the thought of having to pay for a monthly membership is too much for your college budget.

This is why I recommend investing in some home-based gym equipment for your dorm room or apartment. Investing in some dumbbells and a bench press, along with an exercise bike or treadmill will allow you to get your daily workout in without ever leaving your house.

Here are some suggestions for starting a home-based gym:

    1. Adjustable Dumbbells
    2. Adjusting bench
    3. Pull-up bar
    4. Treadmill

    Adjustable Dumbbells:

Dumbbells are similar to barbells, but they allow you to work each side of your body individually. This is important because it helps you to balance out any weaknesses or imbalances in your body.

What exercises can I do with an Adjusting Dumbbells?

Use dumbbells to work on muscle strength, power and endurance. A dumbbell is a good piece of equipment because it provides an opportunity to challenge muscles in isolation or as part of a functional movement pattern in conjunction with other muscles.

Some examples of bodybuilding exercises include bicep curls, tricep extensions and squats. Exercises that target multiple muscle groups include chest presses and lunges.

If you are looking for a fast and effective way to build muscle and lose fat, then BodyMax Black Edition Dumbells is the product for you. The dumbbells adjust from 5kg to 25kg and are fitted with easy spin collars, which make changing the weight quick and simple.

Each dumbbell is an independent piece of equipment that can be used singularly or in pairs. With a choice of 15 different weight settings, this allows you to choose a single dumbbell weight or an equal pair of weights to perform a variety of exercises.

    Adjusting bench

This is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment you can have. A good weight bench should be sturdy, adjustable, and comfortable. Not only can it hold weights for bench presses, but it can also provide support for other moves like sit-ups, dips, curls, shoulder raises, rowers, and more. Look for one with different incline levels so that you can perform lots of different exercises on it.

What exercises can I do with an adjusting bench?

Bench press. Lie on your back on the adjusting bench. Grasp the bar with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Lift the bar off the rack and slowly lower it until it touches the middle of your chest. Push the bar back to its starting position with arms straight but not locked. Repeat as many times as needed.

Incline dumbbell flyes. Lie on your back on an incline Adjusting bench, with your feet flat on the floor, holding a dumbbell in each hand at arm’s length above your chest, elbows slightly bent and palms facing each other. Slowly lower both arms to the sides until they are in line with your torso. Pause, then return to the starting position by using the pecs to bring both hands together again above you in a hugging motion. If you want to build bigger legs, then the squat should be the first exercise that you focus on. However, you won’t be able to perform this exercise with just a set of dumbbells; you’ll also need a barbell and an adjustable bench.

    Pull-up bar

Working out at home is easy, and a lot of fun if you have the right equipment. An excellent piece of equipment to have in your home gym is a pull-up bar. Not only are they easy to install, but they’re also quite cheap. There are many types of pull-up bars you can get, but I would mostly recommend the ones that fit over a door frame. This will save you lots of space, and they will be out of the way when not in use.

What exercises can I do with a pull-up bar?

This question depends on what type of pull-up bar you get. There are many different types of pull-up bars, from ones that just fit over door frames to free standing ones that take up a lot more room (and cost quite a bit more). The one most people think of when it comes to pull-ups is the free standing bar that has two legs and can be placed anywhere in your home. The downside of having this type is that it takes up quite a bit of room, which most homes don’t have.

The other type is one that fits over your door frame, usually with some kind of rubber or foam on the sides so it.

    Treadmill

Running is one of the best exercises to get your heart rate up and increase endurance, but it can be hard to fit into a busy schedule. A treadmill, with its ability to be used at any time of the day or night, makes it easy to get in a workout without having to leave home. Treadmills come in all shapes, sizes, features, and prices.

Some treadmills come with high-tech features that let you interact with a virtual environment or video games while you work out. Others have more basic functions that simply display your real-time speed, distance traveled and heart rate. All treadmills adjust for incline and have safety features such as emergency stop switches.

What exercises can I do with a Treadmill?

A treadmill is a great way to get your cardio in without leaving your house. It will also allow you to walk, jog or run without having to go outside. If having a treadmill in your living room makes you uncomfortable, there are foldable treadmills that hide away neatly when not in use. You can also find treadmills with built-in projectors, so you can watch movies while exercising.

Power walking or jogging on a treadmill can help you burn up to 500 calories per hour, depending on how fast you walk and what your weight is. It’s also an excellent way to build muscle by toning your leg muscles.

When used properly, treadmills can be beneficial for runners of all levels. It’s a good way to get in some easy miles or some speed work as well.

    Final Words

For students looking for a great workout at home, these exercises are ideal. They are easy to do, take up little space and don’t require much equipment. I’m sure you can even remember the last time you did squats in gym class. These moves, however, may not be as familiar to you:
